Miki Harasawa studied piano at “Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main”under Irina Edelstein, who had studied at the Moscow Conservatory with Jacob Milstein. After graduation , she completed her post-graduate studies at “Hochschule für Musik Dresden”, under the tutelage of Winfried Apel, who studied with Amadeus Webersinke, Lev Oborin and Yakov Zak. She also worked regularly with Rudolf Kehrer in Zürich.
Miki has performed at numerous festivals and concerts in Germany, France, Czechoslovakia, Sicily, Italy, and Japan.
After returning to Japan, she has continued “THE PIANO WOMAN” series as her lifework, as well as the education of the future generations.
In May 2019, she released her 1st album
“GOLDBERG VARIATIONS”.
In2020, she released her 2st album & single,
“Chopin : Mazurkas”
“Schubert : Moments Musicaux D.780 Op.94 No.2 Andantino” “Liszt: Mephisto Waltz No.1”
